Hareden Candy

Stripes Volume 2 FabricHRDNCNDY

Hareden Candy combines a softly textured grey-beige ground with vertical bands of dusty red, powder blue, cream and pale blush pink. Its restrained colour contrast gives the stripe a calm, lived-in character.

About this fabric

The visible weave is compact and gently irregular, creating a tactile surface rather than a flat printed appearance. Broad muted red stripes sit alongside fine blue, cream and blush lines, while the warm grey ground softens the overall contrast. The vertical layout feels orderly, but the variation in stripe width keeps the design from looking rigid. With its apparent mid-weight woven handle, this fabric is well suited to either upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use Hareden Candy on a relaxed armchair, bench or full-length curtain where its warm grey base can settle into the room and the dusty red and pale blue stripes provide understated colour. Keep surrounding textiles quiet so the varied vertical bands remain legible.

Use the warm grey ground with natural upholstery, pale timber and muted painted walls; the red, blue and blush stripes add measured colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
