About this fabric

The colour reads as a cool, smoky mid-grey rather than a warm stone, with lighter threads lifting the surface in the photograph. Its pattern is built from tightly repeated arrowhead, chevron and short linear marks arranged in irregular rectangular blocks, giving the face a measured patchwork rhythm. The tonal contrast creates depth without introducing a separate accent colour. Supplied as a velvet, it has a visibly textured face; no performance features or further specification data are noted.

How to use it

Use Park Smoke on a tailored armchair, sofa or ottoman where its cool smoky-grey tone can anchor softer greys, chalky whites and dark timber. The restrained tonal pattern also suits a contemporary room that needs texture without a bright colour contrast.

Use the cool smoky-grey ground to bring definition to tailored seating and contemporary interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Park Smoke Epingle Velvet without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
