About this fabric

The fabric has a dense, small-scale weave formed from closely worked grey and lighter threads, giving the surface a subtly pebbled appearance. Its dark grey tone reads cool and understated rather than warm or brown, while the pale flecks add definition without creating a bold motif. Draped folds reveal a softly structured handle, with highlights appearing on the raised ridges and deeper charcoal shadows settling into the creases. The visible construction gives this colourway a smart, textural character suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Use the cool charcoal-grey tone on a tailored armchair, sofa or bench where the fine woven pattern can add depth without dominating the room. Pair it with pale stone, crisp white or deeper blue-grey accents to echo the swatch’s restrained contrast.

A dense, finely patterned grey weave that brings quiet texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
