About this fabric

The close-up reveals a dense, tactile surface made up of narrow vertical dashes that shift in length and direction across the design. Charcoal and blue-grey tones create the deepest layer, while olive green, stone, cream and soft terracotta add a warm, mineral contrast. The closely packed pattern has a rhythmic, almost hand-assembled appearance, with small changes in tone catching across the textured weave. Its substantial visual presence makes this colourway particularly well suited to upholstery where the graphic surface can be seen at close range.

How to use it

Use Avari Mehndi on a statement armchair, dining chair or compact sofa, pairing its charcoal depth with warm timber and its muted olive and rust notes with earthy accessories. Keep surrounding plains quiet so the broken vertical pattern remains the focal point.

A dense, graphic weave that brings charcoal depth, muted olive and warm rust accents to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
