Black Edition

Naira Teal

Tabala Fabric

Naira Teal reads as a deep, cool blue-green textile, layered with dark charcoal shadowing and scattered pale floral marks. Its close, irregular weave gives the colourway a richly tactile appearance.

About this fabric

Across the surface, deep teal is broken by charcoal and near-black areas, while olive, muted gold, turquoise and small cream blossoms create a layered, painterly effect. The visibly dense, nubby weave gives this cloth a substantial upholstery-facing character rather than the look of a fine, fluid drapery fabric. It is catalogued as Fabric, with no composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification supplied for this colourway. The dark ground allows the pale floral flecks and brighter turquoise details to catch the eye without making the overall design feel overly bright.

How to use it

Pair Naira Teal with smoked timber, aged brass and warm neutrals to balance its cool blue-green depth. It would bring particular richness to an armchair, sofa or statement upholstered headboard.

Use the deep teal ground with charcoal, muted gold and cream accents to add depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
