Tabala Mehndi

Tabala Fabric

Tabala Mehndi is an earthy abstract textile built from broad, irregular blocks of rust, charcoal, taupe, cream and soft grey. The tonal balance feels grounded and quietly dramatic, with the dark sections adding depth to the warm palette.

About this fabric

The design uses uneven geometric panels and softly angled shapes rather than a regular repeat, creating a patchwork-like composition across the surface. Rust and terracotta areas bring warmth, while charcoal blue, taupe and pale grey temper the scheme with a more weathered, muted quality. A fine, slightly mottled textile grain is visible across the colour fields, giving the flat shapes a tactile softness. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Tabala Mehndi with warm timber, aged leather and chalky neutrals to draw out its rust and taupe tones. Its charcoal sections can also support darker painted furniture or occasional upholstery.

Use the earthy rust and charcoal geometry to anchor relaxed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
