Highlander Carmine

Highlander 2 FabricCCF0439-32

Highlander Carmine presents as an even, warm red cloth with a fine, understated woven texture. Its carmine tone has a gently brick-red depth, while subtle tonal variation across the surface keeps the colour from appearing flat.

About this fabric

At 290 gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile with a close, softly textured surface that can work across upholstery and drapery. The usable width is 140 cm, providing a practical plain ground without the need to align a motif. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, matching the swatch’s uninterrupted appearance. The red colour reads rich and warm rather than bright scarlet, with the fine weave creating restrained changes in depth as the light moves across it.

How to use it

Use Highlander Carmine to give a chair, headboard or bench a confident warm-red finish, or make it into softly tailored curtains where its plain surface can carry the colour without adding pattern. Pair it with aged timber, warm neutrals and muted brass to draw out its brick-red undertone.

A warm carmine plain weave that brings saturated red depth to upholstery and softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
