About this fabric

This 220gsm fabric has a compact woven texture that resembles a subtle linen-like grid, with tiny tonal shifts catching across the ash-grey surface. The colour sits between cool grey and softened taupe, avoiding both starkness and heavy warmth. With a usable width of 147cm, it is a practical mid-weight choice for upholstery and drapery. The plain design has a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, and the standard length is 40m, making it straightforward to plan across wide runs.

How to use it

Pair the cool ash-grey tone with chalky whites, pale timber and soft taupe for a quiet contemporary room, or use it to temper stronger charcoal and blue-grey accents. Its fine woven texture adds interest to plain upholstery, cushions and relaxed curtains without introducing a visible motif.

Use this softly textured ash grey as a versatile neutral on relaxed upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
