About this fabric

At 566gsm, this substantial woven fabric is well suited to upholstery and has a reassuring visual depth. Its warm ivory base is crossed by alternating taupe, mushroom and soft grey stepped bands, creating a muted zigzag rhythm across the face. The pattern repeats every 24cm vertically and 8.5cm horizontally, giving the geometric design a medium-scale presence. With a usable width of 137cm and a standard length of 25m, it offers practical coverage for coordinated upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Empire Natural on a statement armchair, sofa or bench where its warm ivory ground can lighten the scheme while the taupe-grey zigzags add quiet structure. Pair it with timber, aged metal and tonal taupe cushions to bring out the fabric’s softened, earthy contrast.
