About this fabric

This heavy plain weave has a near-charcoal ground enlivened by delicate vertical and horizontal striations, producing a quiet, almost checked surface when viewed closely. The muted green undertone prevents the colour from reading as flat black, while the interlaced threads catch the light in fine tonal shifts. At 490gsm, Vienna Charcoal has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery fabric. Its 140cm usable width and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat make it straightforward to position across broad upholstered surfaces.
