About this fabric

This colourway has a softened blue tone that reads cool and fresh rather than bright, giving the white fern and leaf motifs plenty of contrast. The design is printed on a 65% Linen, 29% Viscose, 6% Polyester fabric with an approximate width of 138cm, and the repeat is V 74cm / H 138cm approx. The surface visible in the image looks gently textural rather than glossy, which suits the linen-rich composition and gives the pattern a relaxed finish. It is a versatile fabric for both upholstery and drapery where a lighter, decorative botanical statement is wanted.

How to use it

Use Frensham Old Blue on a chair, window seat or tailored curtains to bring a soft coastal note into a room. Its pale blue ground works especially well with chalk white paintwork, blond woods and muted grey-green accents.
