Sonoma Cream
Longwood FabricL9378-01
Sonoma Cream shows the Longwood design in a quiet, softly lit cream ground with a fine crosshatched grid running through the weave. The result is airy and textural, with a subtle linen-wool slub that gives the cloth depth without visual weight.

About this fabric
This colourway combines 60% Linen, 33% Wool and 7% Polyester in a fabric that measures approximately 144cm wide, with no visible repeat at V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The surface reads as a pale cream-beige with a slightly warmer thread working through the grid, so the pattern feels delicate rather than stark. Its small-scale woven check is most visible where the cloth folds, catching light across the raised texture and softening into a more tonal look on flatter areas. The overall effect is calm and natural, with enough body for tailored drapery or light upholstery depending on the intended use.
How to use it
Sonoma Cream suits rooms that need brightness without a harsh white finish, especially alongside oak, plaster pinks or chalky taupes. It works particularly well on relaxed curtains, occasional chairs or cushions where the woven grid can add interest in close view.
Use this soft cream weave for calm upholstery or elegant curtains with a light, textural finish.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sonoma Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
