About this fabric

This Le Cabinet de Curiosites colourway is woven in 100% cotton and measures approximately 135cm wide, with a repeat of V 110cm / H 135cm approx, making it suitable for larger-scale pattern placement. The print reads as a pale, softly toned ground with coral-orange highlights, muted green shells and foliage, and darker charcoal details that sharpen the outline of the motif. Its cotton body and broad repeat give it enough presence for both loose upholstery and statement curtains, depending on the scheme. The overall effect is detailed and theatrical, but the light background keeps the design from feeling heavy.

How to use it

Use this colourway in a room that needs pattern and warmth without losing freshness; the pale ground helps the coral detail feel bright rather than dense. It works well with painted wood, cane, aged brass and simple neutral upholstery around it.

Layer with plain linens or velvet to let the coral accents and cabinet motifs stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
