Tata Sand

Sami FabricL9449-02

Tata Sand is a softly luminous beige with a dry, open weave that gives the cloth a relaxed, natural look. The surface reads airy rather than flat, with a gentle sheen catching on the raised threads.

About this fabric

This colourway combines 39% Linen, 23% Wool, 16% Viscose, 12% Polyester and 10% Polyamide, and the blend shows in the fabric’s slightly irregular, textural face. In Tata Sand, the yarns settle into a warm sandy beige with pale honey notes and a light, sun-washed depth. The cloth has no visible repeat, and at approximately 139cm wide it is a useful width for upholstery projects as well as curtains. The weave feels open and breathable in appearance, with enough body to suggest a versatile decorative fabric rather than a sheer.

How to use it

Tata Sand works beautifully alongside oak, rattan and chalky plaster tones, where its warm beige reading feels calm and quietly layered. It also softens darker joinery or painted timber by bringing a natural, light-reflecting finish to the room.

Use with natural woods and textured neutrals for an easy, understated scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
