Tata Gull

Sami FabricL9449-03

Tata Gull is a softly luminous ivory colourway with a gentle warm cast and a relaxed, lightly textural surface. The weave reads sheer enough to feel airy, yet substantial enough to bring a quiet fabric presence to the room.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted soft ivory tone with beige undertones, so the surface feels warm rather than chalky white. The visible weave is open and finely textured, with horizontal slubs and a softly irregular hand that gives the cloth an easy, lived-in character. It is a 139cm-wide fabric in a blend of 39% linen, 23% wool, 16% viscose, 12% polyester and 10% polyamide, with repeat listed as V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The composition and weave suggest a versatile cloth that can work beautifully for curtains or light upholstery applications where a natural, textural look is wanted.

How to use it

Use Tata Gull to soften darker timbers, sandy stone and muted olive accents, where its warm ivory tone will keep the scheme calm and light. It also works well as a quiet backdrop in layered neutrals, especially when paired with nubby linens and brushed metals.

A softly luminous ivory that layers easily with pale woods, linen and warmer neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
