Tata Bone

Sami FabricL9449-01

Tata Bone is a quietly luminous bone cream with a gently striated woven surface. The colour reads warm and softened, with enough depth in the weave to keep it from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale bone tone with subtle ivory and oatmeal undertones, lifted by the open, nubby texture visible across the surface. The woven structure gives it a soft, tailored drape while still feeling substantial enough for relaxed upholstery as well as curtains. In Larsen's Sami collection, it is woven to an approximate width of 139cm and has a plain repeat, making the texture the focus rather than pattern. The composition blends 39% Linen, 23% Wool, 16% Viscose, 12% Polyester and 10% Polyamide, which helps explain the dry, slightly tactile hand and the gentle light play seen here.

How to use it

Use Tata Bone to bring warmth to pared-back schemes, especially alongside pale timber, plaster, and stone finishes. Its mellow cream tone is ideal when you want a neutral that feels softer and more inviting than bright white.

A warm, textural neutral that softens a room without feeling stark.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
