About this fabric

This plain chenille is woven from 99% polyester and 1% nylon, giving the surface a subtle, even texture rather than a printed motif. The 138cm width makes it practical for upholstery, and it is graded for both contract and domestic use. LUN4031 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. The charcoal colouring reads cool and restrained, while the chenille pile adds a slight tonal softness to the otherwise dark, tailored appearance.

How to use it

Use LUN4031 on a sofa, dining chair or occasional seat where its deep charcoal tone can anchor a pale room or complement blackened timber and brushed metal. Pair it with warm ivory, stone or muted grey textiles to keep the scheme balanced rather than stark.
