About this fabric
The close-up shows an even chenille face in charcoal grey, with tiny woven fibres creating a soft, lightly mottled surface rather than a printed motif. It is made from 99% polyester and 1% nylon and has a 138cm width. The fabric is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable, making the dark tone practical for frequently used seating. Flame retardancy is supplied for domestic cigarette-and-match use, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this deep charcoal on a tailored sofa, dining seat or occasional chair where its restrained texture can bring depth without introducing a pattern. Pair it with warm timber, brushed metal and softer grey or oatmeal textiles to keep the room balanced rather than stark.
