About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a smooth, softly reflective surface with a muted grey depth rather than a flat solid colour. The close-up shows delicate horizontal and vertical tonal movement in the pile, giving the charcoal shade a gently weathered, tactile appearance without a visible motif. OMB3336 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy. It is also machine washable, combining the tailored look of velvet with practical aftercare.

How to use it

Use this cool, softened charcoal on a contemporary sofa, dining chair or headboard where its subtle pile variation can add depth without introducing a pattern. Pair it with pale stone, aged wood or brushed metal for a restrained, modern scheme.
