Picolit Notte

Curtain fabrics Fabric014

In the image, Picolit Notte reads as a deep ink-blue cloth, darker than a standard mid-blue but softened by visible woven variation. Its quiet horizontal grain gives the plain surface depth without introducing a printed motif.

About this fabric

This colourway has a cool, midnight-leaning blue tone, with lighter threads and fine horizontal striations tempering the depth of the ground. The close woven face appears softly textured rather than smooth, creating gentle tonal movement across the swatch. There is no printed pattern; the interest comes from the restrained weave and the way the surface catches the light in narrow bands. Its composed, unshowy character makes Picolit Notte especially suited to a tailored curtain treatment.

How to use it

Pair Picolit Notte with pale stone, chalk or warm grey walls to let its cool navy depth anchor the room without making it feel heavy. It also works alongside brushed metal, dark timber and muted blue upholstery for a quietly coordinated scheme.

The deep ink-blue tone and restrained horizontal weave bring tailored depth to curtains and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
