Alassio Red

Fabrics Fabric120

Alassio Red sets deep red stripes against a warm cream ground in a tightly repeated vertical rhythm. The close-set bands give the swatch a tailored, graphic appearance, while the woven surface softens the contrast slightly.

About this fabric

The dominant red is deep and warm rather than bright, giving the stripe a grounded, confident character. Slim cream lines separate the red bands and keep the overall colourway light enough to read clearly at a distance. Up close, the surface has a subtle woven texture that prevents the alternating colours from looking completely flat. Its regular vertical layout adds height and a crisp architectural feel without the severity of a solid red textile.

How to use it

Use Alassio Red on a compact armchair, dining seat or bolster where its deep red-and-cream rhythm can act as a tailored accent. It would also bring a smart, gently graphic finish to a simple window treatment.

Use the narrow red-and-cream stripe to bring tailored rhythm to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
