Baldac Blue

Fabrics Fabric100

Baldac Blue combines a deep, cool navy ground with pale grey abstract forms arranged in tightly packed vertical rows. Its woven surface gives the colourway a subtly flecked, tactile depth rather than a flat blue appearance.

About this fabric

The dominant tone is a saturated midnight navy, softened by irregular blue texture and contrasting pale grey-lilac motifs. Each repeated shape has a pointed, leaf-like outline, creating a rhythmic pattern that reads clearly across the swatch. The dense weave catches the light in small tonal variations, adding depth to the dark ground. No composition, width, rub test or additional performance specification was supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair Baldac Blue with chalky whites, pale grey upholstery or brushed metal for a cool, graphic scheme. The dark navy ground can also anchor a reading chair, banquette or full-length curtain where the repeated motif can be seen at close range.

Use the cool navy ground and pale grey motif to bring graphic contrast to contemporary upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
