Chemin Blue

Fabrics Fabric100

Chemin Blue by Dedar is defined by broad vertical bands of deep blue-violet and soft ivory. Its closely ribbed surface gives the contrasting stripes a subtle linear texture rather than a flat, printed appearance.

About this fabric

The dark stripes read as cool blue-violet, with a gently heathered depth that shifts against the warmer ivory bands. Narrow blue-violet side bands frame a wider central ivory stripe, creating a clear, balanced vertical rhythm. A fine, closely spaced rib is visible across the surface, adding discreet tactile interest to the graphic layout. No composition, width, rub-test or usage specification is supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Chemin Blue to sharpen a pale room with cool blue-violet seating, or let its vertical striping add height to full-length ivory-and-blue curtains. It pairs naturally with chalky whites, warm ivory and restrained blue-grey accents.

The cool blue-violet and ivory stripes bring crisp architectural contrast to upholstery, blinds or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
