Chimera Blue

Fabrics Fabric100

Chimera Blue has a cool, graphic presence, combining deep ink-blue chevrons with fine ivory flecks across the woven surface. The close-up view reveals a tactile, irregular texture that softens the geometry.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeating zigzag and chevron bands, with the dark blue areas broken by ivory threads for a softly weathered finish. Its blue reads as deep and slightly muted rather than bright, giving the pattern visual depth without losing definition. The densely textured appearance makes this colourway best suited to upholstery, particularly where a patterned seat or occasional chair can carry the graphic repeat. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the cool ink-blue ground with chalky whites, pale grey and natural timber, or use it to sharpen a room of warmer taupes and cognac leather. A plain ivory cushion will pick up the lighter threads without competing with the chevrons.

Use this cool ink-blue and ivory weave to bring graphic texture and measured contrast to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
