Herrero Star And Cross Blue

Fabrics Fabric100

Herrero Star And Cross Blue places an irregular dark-blue star-and-cross lattice over a pale ivory ground. Its finely textured surface keeps the contrast crisp without feeling harsh.

About this fabric

The pattern is formed by broken, irregular blue lines that create a repeating lattice of star- and cross-like shapes across the ivory face. A subtle horizontal texture is visible in the ground, giving the pale background quiet depth beneath the darker drawing. The cool ink-blue tone reads clean and graphic against the warm off-white base, rather than appearing bright or saturated. No composition, width, rub-test or performance features are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-and-ivory colourway to bring graphic definition to a light, calm scheme, especially alongside natural timber, chalky walls and plain ivory textiles. Its medium-scale repeat can work across upholstery or curtains where a patterned accent is wanted without overwhelming the room.

Pair the cool ink-blue lattice with warm timber, ivory upholstery and restrained contemporary furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
