Fabrics Fabric926

Lampedusa Taupe is built around a broad, muted taupe stripe framed by pale ivory bands. Its close, even weave gives the colourway a softly tactile surface while keeping the overall impression calm and architectural.

About this fabric

The central stripe reads as a subdued brown-grey taupe rather than a warm, golden brown, giving the design a grounded mineral quality. Wide ivory bands on either side create a clear vertical rhythm and soften the depth of the darker panel. The fine plain weave is visible across the swatch, adding understated texture without introducing a separate motif or sheen. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Lampedusa Taupe as full-length curtains where its broad vertical bands can add gentle height without dominating the room. Pair the muted taupe with chalky whites, natural timber and warm grey upholstery for a restrained, tonal scheme.

Use the broad taupe-and-ivory stripes to bring quiet structure to windows and softly tailored interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lampedusa Taupe without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
