About this fabric

The warm yellow artwork ranges from softly translucent marks to denser, more saturated areas, giving the colourway a gentle sense of depth rather than a flat block of colour. Slender branching stems weave between rounded fish and organic forms, while small pale openings within the larger motifs add a lightly stippled, graphic quality. Against the cool grey background, the yellow reads sunny and energetic without becoming harsh. The fine appearance of the cloth and open ground make the design particularly well suited to light-filtering drapery.

How to use it

Use Nemo Yellow at a window where its lemon-yellow forms can animate the room in daylight, pairing the cool grey ground with chalky whites, pale woods or quiet grey upholstery. Keep surrounding furnishings simple so the aquatic motif remains the focal point.

A light, airy colourway for curtains or blinds, bringing warm yellow aquatic forms onto a cool pale ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
