Mono No Aware Seafoam combines a cool, blue-leaning seafoam ground with expressive gold lines that wander across the cloth. Small clustered gold marks add a delicate botanical accent to the larger abstract forms.

About this fabric

The visible surface has a fine, vertically textured woven ground in a muted blue-seafoam tone, giving the colourway a calm, slightly atmospheric depth. Fluid gold-toned lines trace irregular organic shapes, while a compact cluster of raised-looking gold marks creates a focal detail near the upper portion of the design. The contrast between the cool ground and warm metallic-looking pattern gives the fabric a smart, contemporary character. Its apparent mid-weight woven construction makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use this cool seafoam colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain, balancing its gold linework with natural wood, aged brass and warm ivory.

Pair the cool seafoam ground with warm timber, brass and softly contrasting neutral upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
