Iris Wall Fondente

Fire-retardant Fabric037

Iris Wall Fondente is a deeply shaded espresso-brown textile with a finely ribbed surface. Its close horizontal lines create a restrained, tactile finish rather than a decorative motif.

About this fabric

The swatch reads as a near-black brown, with subtle tonal variation where the light catches the closely spaced horizontal ribs. The compact weave gives the surface a neat, consistent appearance and enough visual texture to avoid looking flat. This is a textile SKU from Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no composition, width or rub-test information is supplied for this exact fabric. The dark, muted colour makes the fine ribbing particularly understated and architectural.

How to use it

Use Fondente on a clean-lined chair or sofa when a near-black brown is preferred to true black, or pair it with warm stone, oatmeal and aged timber for a grounded scheme.

Use the deep espresso tone to bring quiet depth to contemporary upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
