Maps Duck Egg

Coast Fabric

Maps Duck Egg shows a finely detailed world map pattern softened by a pale duck-egg ground. The washed blue tone gives the design an airy, calm feel while the gold outlines keep it crisp and defined.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton, this 140cm-wide fabric has a 64cm pattern repeat, so the map motif reads clearly across larger lengths. The colourway is a cool, muted duck-egg blue with a lightly weathered look, allowing the ivory landmasses and fine golden-brown outlines to stand out neatly. Its smooth cotton handle and moderate visual scale make the design feel more tailored than playful. The overall effect is fresh, coastal and slightly vintage, with enough clarity in the print to hold its own in a room. Care instructions are AQV1<.

How to use it

Use this colourway for relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or occasional upholstery where the pale blue ground can brighten a scheme. It works particularly well with white paint, light oak and weathered brass for a clean coastal look.

A cool duck-egg map design that feels crisp and easy to pair with pale woods and brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
