Peru Spice

Digital Prints Fabric

Peru Spice brings a lively, folkloric look to this printed fabric, with coral, ochre, charcoal and soft aqua motifs scattered across a natural-toned ground. The surface has a dry, linen-like character that keeps the design feeling relaxed rather than glossy.

About this fabric

From Fryett's Fabrics' Digital Prints collection, Peru Spice is a textile fabric with a 145cm width and a 64cm vertical by 68cm horizontal pattern repeat. The composition of 50% viscose, 26% linen and 24% polyester gives the cloth a textured, clothy handle that suits statement interiors without feeling stiff. In this colourway, the design reads as a warm, earthy mix of terracotta, mustard, charcoal and faded blush, softened by the pale base fabric. The motif feels bold but approachable, with the darker outlines sharpening the pattern against the creamy ground. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

Use Peru Spice on an occasional chair, banquette or blind where its warm terracotta and ochre tones can add energy against oak, travertine or plaster walls. It also works well as a feature cushion fabric layered with plain neutrals to balance the busy repeat.

Pair with plain linens and timber tones to let the warm spice palette stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
