About this fabric

This fabric is supplied at 142cm wide and has a 38cm vertical pattern repeat, making the linked geometric layout read clearly across larger pieces. The composition is 27% cotton and 100% recycled polyester, giving the cloth a smooth, slightly structured look in the image. Colourwise, Wendover Spice sits in a warm terracotta family with a muted earthy depth rather than a bright orange cast, and the darker linear motif gives it extra definition. It feels tailored and decorative rather than soft and fluffy, with the crisp graphic repeat bringing a smart finish to upholstery or curtains alike.

How to use it

Pair this spice-toned colourway with walnut, aged brass and linen to echo its warm earthiness. It works especially well where you want a strong graphic pattern to add depth without resorting to cool colours.

Use with natural woods and earthy neutrals to let the rich terracotta pattern lead the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wendover Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
