About this fabric

Woven in a 25% Polyester, 75% BCI Cotton blend, Japonica Ochre has a crisp, textile feel that suits both curtains and lighter upholstery projects. The 140cm width gives useful coverage, while the 23.5cm vertical and 45cm horizontal repeat supports the flowing vine design seen in the swatch. Its ochre flowers read warm and sunny rather than brash, lifted by the pale ground and softened by the misty green foliage. The overall effect is airy and clean, with enough pattern presence to add interest without darkening a room.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a fresh, optimistic note against painted woodwork, rattan, or pale oak. It works especially well in rooms that need warmth without moving into stronger gold tones.

Pair with natural woods and soft sage accents for a fresh, easy-going scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
