About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 25% Polyester and 75% BCI Cotton, giving the cloth a naturally soft look with a lightly structured finish. The praline base reads as a creamy beige with a subtle warmth, while the floral motif is picked out in dusky grey-lilac and pale golden embroidery-like strokes. The pattern repeat measures 23.5cm vertically by 45cm horizontally, creating an airy, climbing vine effect across the width. At 140cm wide, it is a useful decorative fabric for schemes that want a gentle botanical pattern without a heavy contrast. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

Use this colourway to soften pale timber, linen upholstery and painted walls, where the warm beige ground will keep the room feeling calm. The muted lilac detail gives enough interest for relaxed curtains, feature cushions or occasional upholstery in a bright, neutral interior.

A warm neutral that adds gentle pattern without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Japonica Praline without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
