Kotomi Indigo
Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric
Kotomi Indigo has a deep, ink-blue ground broken by irregular pale grey striations that give the stripe a worn, textural rhythm. The pattern feels crisp and graphic, but softened by the nubby woven surface visible in the swatch.

About this fabric
This fabric is supplied at 137cm wide and has a 31cm pattern repeat, so the vertical stripe structure will read clearly across larger pieces. The composition of 88% polyester, 8% cotton and 4% linen suggests a practical woven cloth with a little natural texture, which matches the slightly flecked, slubbed look visible here. Kotomi Indigo combines near-black navy bands with chalkier grey-blue marks, creating a cool, low-gloss finish that feels more tailored than bright. The irregular print and broken surface give the colourway movement, while the darker ground keeps it anchored and easy to coordinate.
How to use it
This indigo colourway works well on an upholstered armchair, bench or headboard where the stripe can add structure without overpowering the room. Pair it with pale plaster, weathered wood and soft grey linens to bring out the cooler blue notes.
Use with pale oak or chalky neutrals to let the indigo pattern stay crisp and grounded.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kotomi Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
