Rumba Mono

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Rumba Mono presents a bold looping geometric on a soft grey ground, drawn in a strong black outline that gives the pattern clear contrast. The weave reads textured and slightly slubbed, adding interest to the clean monochrome look.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied in a 145cm width and is composed of 70% recycled polyester and 30% polyester. The repeat measures 20.7cm vertically by 9cm horizontally, which helps the interlocking oval motif feel structured and rhythmic across the cloth. In this colourway, the pale grey ground keeps the design airy while the black pattern brings sharper definition and a more graphic edge. The visible weave has a subtle linear texture, so the surface feels more tactile than flat print. No performance features are noted, and care is specified as BQV1<.

How to use it

Use this grey-and-black colourway to add pattern to an otherwise restrained scheme, especially alongside charcoal upholstery, pale woods or polished metal. It also makes a smart blind or cushion fabric where the repeating loops can be seen clearly.

A crisp monochrome choice that works well on a statement chair or tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
