About this fabric

Andalusia Rosso from Porter & Stone’s Plains & Semi Plains collection is a fabric with a 145cm width and a 36.5cm pattern repeat. The composition of 51% viscose, 28% cotton and 21% polyester gives the cloth a softly tactile finish, while the design reads as a dense leafy/fern-like check built from intersecting strands. In this colourway, the reds are warm and slightly rusted rather than bright, sitting alongside tan, cinnamon and deeper burgundy notes on a pale neutral ground. The effect is patterned and expressive, but the overall tone stays earthy enough to work in lived-in interiors. Care code NQT1< should be followed to maintain the fabric’s appearance.

How to use it

Use Rosso to add warmth to a sofa, banquette or upholstered headboard, especially where the room already has timber, leather or aged brass. It also works well as a statement drapery in a scheme that needs a richer red without moving into a formal crimson.
