Monza FR Monza Charcoal reads as a deep, smoky grey with a soft dry texture and subtle woven movement. The close-up finish gives the surface a restrained, tailored look rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

This upholstery cloth is supplied at 140cm wide and has a 0cm pattern repeat, making the understated plain surface easy to cut and pattern-match. The blend of 50% polyester, 24% cotton, 12% viscose and 14% linen helps give the fabric its firm, lightly slubbed handle and softly mottled charcoal appearance. In the image, the colour sits in a cool dark grey range with faint tonal variation that catches the light across the weave. Care instructions are NQT1<, so it is intended to be handled in line with the manufacturer’s guidance.

How to use it

Use this charcoal shade on contemporary sofas, dining chairs or a headboard where a darker neutral will ground the room. It pairs neatly with pale timber, off-white walls and brushed metal details for a crisp, modern contrast.

A dark, quietly textured neutral for tailored seating and refined interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
