ARTEMIS Velvet Curtain - Petrol

curtain VelvetHOH-C-1-FA-ART-VE-PET-XXX-XXX

ARTEMIS Velvet Curtain in Petrol combines a deep blue-green ground with an exuberant botanical pattern in rust, coral, ochre and cream. Hanging in generous folds, the velvet gives the design a dramatic, softly shadowed presence.

About this fabric

The petrol ground reads as a saturated, cool teal, giving the floral composition considerable depth while allowing the warmer flowers to come forward. Large stylised blooms, curling leaves and fine stems run vertically across the cloth, with flashes of red, orange, yellow, cream and muted purple visible between the folds. The velvet surface catches the light along each pleat, alternating between softly luminous ridges and darker blue-green recesses. As a curtain fabric, it is especially effective at full length, where the repeated pattern and substantial drape remain clearly visible.

How to use it

Pair this colourway with aged brass, dark timber and warm neutral walls to balance its cool petrol depth. It also suits rooms that can carry saturated rust, coral and ochre accents drawn directly from the botanical pattern.

Use the deep petrol ground to frame windows in richly coloured, jewel-like interiors with warm timber or brass accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
