AVALON Wallpaper - Noir makes an immediate impression with a deep black ground scattered with oversized flowers, curling stems and painterly foliage. Ochre sunflowers, olive leaves, rust-toned blooms and cream petals create a richly tonal botanical scene.

About this fabric

The large-scale design combines open sunflower heads with chrysanthemums, poppy-like blooms and curling leaves in a densely arranged composition. Against the black background, the ochre and antique-gold petals appear warm and luminous, while olive green foliage gives the pattern a grounded, natural depth. Rust, faded coral and cream accents keep the palette varied without losing its moody Noir character. This is a printed wallpaper design with a highly decorative, formal presence rather than a quiet or minimal surface.

How to use it

Use Noir on a feature wall where its black ground can anchor warm timber, aged brass and deep olive furnishings. Its muted floral colours also suit a layered maximalist scheme with ochre, rust and cream accents drawn directly from the pattern.

A dramatic black-ground botanical for richly layered, characterful interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
