About this fabric

The petrol background reads as a deep, cool teal, giving the design a noticeably moody depth rather than a bright or airy feel. Large painterly flowers in tobacco brown, slate blue and dusky blue-grey are surrounded by curling green stems, fern-like leaves and tiny yellow flower heads. The varied scale of the blooms creates a full, lavish surface, while the darker ground keeps the overall effect composed and atmospheric.
