Postelia Berry/Heather places delicate botanical stems and feathery foliage over an airy ivory ground. Mauve, dusty berry and blue-grey details give the design a cool, softly painted depth, balanced by muted sage leaves.

About this fabric

The ivory background is scattered with fine blue-grey stems, rounded berry-like leaves and translucent sage fronds. Dusty mauve and berry starburst flowers provide the strongest colour accents, with their narrow petals creating an intricate contrast against the pale ground. At 300 gsm and 49 threads per cm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile specification suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 137 cm usable width and 135 cm vertical by 137 cm horizontal repeat allow the layered botanical composition to be shown across a broad surface.

How to use it

Use the mauve-berry blooms as the accent colour in a room with chalky ivory walls, pale timber and muted sage upholstery. The cool blue-grey stems can be echoed in cushions or painted details without overpowering the delicate pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
