Shenlong Pomegranate/Grounded/Incense

Shenlong Pomegranate/Grounded/Incense brings a dense botanical scene to a warm cream ground, with pomegranate red, leafy greens, soft pinks, blue and yellow woven through the repeat. The colourway feels lively and layered, rather than dark, despite its strong red accents.

About this fabric

The printed design combines curling foliage, clustered flowers, birds and rounded pomegranate-like fruits in a tightly composed, medium-scale arrangement. Pomegranate reds and berry tones provide depth against the creamy background, while olive, fresh leaf green, powder blue and yellow create a distinctly garden-like palette. Weighing 220 gsm, the fabric has a practical mid-weight handle for outdoor upholstery, and its catalogue performance feature is Outdoor. The 138.5 cm usable width accommodates generous upholstery panels, while the 94.6 cm vertical and 69 cm horizontal pattern repeats give the design a clear, considered rhythm.

How to use it

Use this warm, colourful ground on a garden seat, bench or occasional chair where the pomegranate reds can lead the scheme; pair it with unpatterned cream, olive or dusty blue textiles to give the detailed print room to breathe.

Use this richly coloured outdoor print on statement upholstery, balanced with plain cream, olive or deep red accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Shenlong Pomegranate/Grounded/Incense without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
