About this fabric

The alternating columns of small chevrons and stepped diamonds shift between golden honey, deeper topaz, soft cream, grey and near-black slate, giving this colourway both warmth and cool contrast. At 465 gsm, the fabric has a substantial woven presence suited to upholstery, while its 84 threads per cm support the finely defined pattern. The vertical pattern repeat is 8 cm and the horizontal repeat is 34.5 cm, keeping the geometric detail measured rather than oversized. With a usable width of 137 cm and a standard length of 40 m, it is practical for coordinating upholstered pieces across a scheme.

How to use it

Use Kalimba Honey/Topaz/Slate on a statement chair, headboard or sofa where its golden threads can warm pale interiors; repeat the slate and charcoal details in piping, painted furniture or accessories for balance.

Use the warm honey and topaz with pale neutrals, while slate and charcoal accents add definition to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
