Montpellier Copper is a warm, burnished orange textile with the quiet depth of copper metal. Its close, subtly textured plain weave gives the surface gentle tonal movement without a visible motif.

About this fabric

The swatch appears as a rich copper-orange, with a slightly earthy cast that becomes softly lighter across the woven surface. A fine, even texture is visible on close inspection, while the absence of a pattern repeat keeps the colourway clean and adaptable. At 330 gsm and 142 cm usable width, it has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, confirming this is a continuous plain ground rather than a directional design.

How to use it

Pair Montpellier Copper with warm cream, tobacco or deep brown accents to build a grounded, cocooning scheme. Its burnished orange tone is particularly effective on a reading chair, upholstered headboard or softly gathered curtain.

Use this warm copper shade to bring depth to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
