About this fabric

Printed on 100% polyester, this fabric has a usable width of 136cm and a generous 136cm horizontal by 63cm vertical pattern repeat. The swatch shows large watercolor-style flowers in blush, pink, teal, olive and violet, spaced across a warm off-white ground so the design reads airy rather than dense. With a Martindale rating of 50,000 and an upholstery grade of Severe Contract, it is well suited to demanding interiors, while the FR treatment makes it adaptable for both drapery and upholstery. The surface appearance is soft and lightly textured in effect, with the colours looking fresh, botanical and slightly faded at the edges for a more painterly finish.

How to use it

Use it to soften a relaxed bedroom, conservatory or reading nook where the aqua and blush palette can sit against painted wood and pale timber. It also works well as an accent chair or full-length curtain in a room that needs colour without heaviness.

The airy cream ground keeps the painterly florals fresh and easy to layer in both classic and contemporary schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Enchanted Garden Botanical Garden Aegean Flat without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
