Terrana Filora Linen

SS26 Images - Botanical Archive, Terrana & Hartland Fabric

Terrana Filora Linen shows a softly layered leaf motif in a warm linen cream, with the design standing out gently against the woven ground. The overall effect is airy and natural rather than crisp or high-contrast.

About this fabric

This botanical fabric has a visible slubbed, linen-like texture that suits the relaxed character of the leaf pattern. Its 138cm usable width and 34cm horizontal by 26cm vertical pattern repeat make the design workable for both upholstery and drapery applications. The blend of 42% recycled polyester, 33% polyester and 26% cotton gives the cloth a practical feel, while the 20,000 Martindale rating and General Domestic upholstery grade support everyday use. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, with colour fastness rated 4-5 and pilling 4-5, and it should be dry cleaned only.

How to use it

Use this soft cream colourway on an occasional chair, roman blind or cushion to bring a calm botanical note into a pale scheme. It works especially well with chalky paint, natural oak and other washed neutrals.

Pair with pale woods and textured neutrals to keep the leafy motif calm and airy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Terrana Filora Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
