Montrose Melton Paprika

Inchcolm Abbey Fabric

Montrose Melton Paprika has a warm, burnt paprika tone with the depth of rust and terracotta. Its close, softly mottled weave gives the surface a quiet richness rather than a flat, uniform colour.

About this fabric

The image shows a compact melton-style weave made up of closely blended rust, paprika and darker brown threads. Subtle tonal variation moves across the surface, creating a softly flecked appearance that becomes more noticeable as the light catches the nap-like texture. With its visually substantial, tightly woven handle, this colourway is best suited to upholstery. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Montrose Melton Paprika on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm red-brown depth can anchor cream, aged wood, tobacco leather and muted olive accents. Its restrained texture also works well on tailored, unfussy upholstery.

A warm, close-textured paprika tone for grounding tailored upholstery and adding depth to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
