Olive
Kashmir Carpet
Kashmir Olive has a dark, earthy olive ground with brown-black depth through its dense, nubby pile. The close surface view shows irregular tonal movement rather than a clearly drawn motif.

About this fabric
The supplied catalogue identifies this colourway as Carpet, shown here in a deep, muted olive that shifts towards brown in the darker areas and catches lighter moss tones across the pile. Its dense, short pile has a soft, nubby irregularity, creating a tactile surface without a defined printed repeat. Changes in pile direction produce subtle, low-contrast variation, giving the dark green-brown shade considerable depth. No performance features are noted for this colourway.
How to use it
Use this dark moss-olive tone to give upholstered pieces an earthy, enveloping presence, particularly alongside warm timber, aged leather or other subdued natural shades. Its softly varied pile will add depth where a flat olive might feel too uniform.
Its deep moss-olive pile brings earthy depth and a richly tactile finish to upholstery.
Pairs well with
Olive is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
