Flax Sage

Flax Fabric

Flax Sage is a quiet, finely woven plain fabric with a muted sage cast softened by natural flax tones. Its understated surface shows a delicate, even texture rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The close weave combines subdued sage green with warm flax-beige threads, creating a softly variegated surface that reads calm and lightly organic. The colour is low in saturation, with a gentle greyed quality that keeps the green restrained rather than bright. Fine vertical and horizontal threads remain visible across the swatch, adding depth without introducing a formal pattern. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use Flax Sage where a room needs a softened green neutral: it will sit comfortably on relaxed seating, headboards or full-length curtains alongside warm timber, stone and flax-toned textiles.

The fine, even weave gives this muted sage tone the versatility to work across relaxed upholstery and softly gathered drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
